SUS Bangladesh a Non-government, Not for profit, Non Communal & secular voluntary development organization is working for vulnerable, destitute & distressed people, particularly women & children in Chittagong coastal belt of southern districts. It was established in 1999 & duly registered with the Department of Social Welfare of Government in 2001 with the initiative of a number of philanthropists and academics. Since its inception it has been operating integrated urban and rural development programs leading towards upliftment of the poor people of the community. Its participatory approach has been in practice from the very beginning of the organization. In SUS Bangladesh evolution process, it has experimented out various approaches and undertaken some action oriented research to identify direction of its programs with active participation of urban and rural community people as program partners.
রক্তের প্রয়োজনীয়তা সর্ম্পকে আমাদের সবার জানা আছে। মানুষের জীবনে দুর্ঘটনাজনিত কারনে, প্রসবকালীন সময়ে এবং আরো বিভিন্ন কারনে রক্তের প্রয়োজনীয়তা দেখা দেয়। বেসরকারী সূত্র মতে - প্রতি বছর বাংলাদেশে প্রায় ৬৫ লক্ষ ব্যাগ রক্তের প্রয়োজন হয়। আর এ চাহিদা পূরণের জন্য বাংলাদেশে অনেকগুলো সংগঠন নিরলসভাবে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। এদের মধ্যে উলে−খযোগ্য হচ্ছে সন্ধানী, রেডক্রিসেন্ট, রোটারী ক্লাব ও কোয়ান্টাম ফাউন্ডেশন। আর এই সংস'াগুলো সরবরাহ করছে বাৎসরিক মাত্র ১২ লক্ষ ব্যাগ রক্ত প্রায়। অর্থাৎ ৫৩ লক্ষ ব্যাগ রক্তের ঘাটতি রয়েছে। বিস্তারিত পড়ুন...
